Description:
OPSS-PEG-NH2 is one ofPonsure heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol crosslinkers that have a thiolreactive group and a primary amine group bridged by a linear PEG chain.OPSS is a commonly used sulfhydryl reactivegroup that reacts readily with free thiol groups at pH 4.5~8.5 to form acleavable disulfide bond. Meanwhile, primary amine can be used to react with manyamine reactive groups such as NHS, COOH, etc. PEG linker between OPSS and NHSoffers better water solubility, less steric hindrance and enhanced reactivity. Comparedto other crosslinkers, PEG crosslinkers from Ponsure have more choices fortheir functionality and are easy to use; all crosslinking reactions can becarried out in aqueous solution without need adding any organic solvents.
