Description:
mPEG-ALKYNE is one of Ponsure monofunctional Click Chemistry PEG derivatives with a linear alkyne group at one end of PEG chain. Alkyne group reacts specifically with azide group via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction. This reaction proceeds well in aqueous solution catalyzed by cooper ions. Pegylated alkyne has good water solubility. Reaction between azide and alkyne allows the conjugation of polyethyle glycol to the modified substrates quickly and efficiently. Pegylation improves the stability and solubility of modified molecules. It also suppresses non-specific binding to the pegylated surfaces.
Handling and Use:
mPEG-ALKYNE is sensitive to light and temperature. For best use, material should always be kept in low temperature in dry condition.
Avoid frequent thaw and freezing. For more information about using this product, visit www.ponsure.com.
Storage Conditions:
mPEG-ALKYNE should be stored at -20℃. Desiccate. Materials may be handled under inert gas for best stability. Re-test material after 12 months.
