Description:
N3-PEG-NHS is one of Ponsure heterobifunctional Click Chemistry PEG derivatives that contain a terminal azide and a NHS group on each PEG terminus. NHS ester can react with primary amine containing molecules at alkaline pH to form a stable amide bond. Reaction of amine and NHS allows quick attachment of azide PEG to targeted molecules or materials. Resulted azide PEG can react with linear alkyne group in aqueous solution catalyzed by copper ions. It can also react directly with strained alkynes, such as DBCO, without need any catalyst. Azide and alkyne reaction is a highly efficient Click Chemistry that enables conjugation of two correspondent molecules together with high yield. PEG linker between azide and NHS offers better water solubility, less steric hindrance and enhanced stability.
Handling and Use:
N3-PEG-NHS is sensitive to light and temperature. For best use, material should always be kept in low temperature in dry condition.
Avoid frequent thaw and freezing. For more information about using this product, visit www.ponsure.com.
Storage Conditions:
N3-PEG-NHS should be stored at -20℃. Desiccate. Materials may be handled under inert gas for best stability. Re-test material after 12 months.
